Truck Mate™ Generators was formed by two Yanmar Distributors joining forces to offer a solution to anti-idling laws and high fuel costs. Mastry Engine Center in Florida and Martin Diesel in Ohio have been in the Yanmar Diesel Engine business for over 30 years providing top-quality Yanmar products, including diesel powered generators. Recent anti-idling regulations from state and local governments have created a stronger need for a Semi truck generator. After looking at what was available at the time and fixing several other truck generators the Truck Mate™ founders decided that a simpler, reliable unit was needed in the market. Martin Diesel and Mastry Engine decided to team up to build the Truck Mate™ Generator. One of the most important issues with semi-trucks is being able to service the truck generator. By using the Yanmar Diesel Engine Truck Mate™ Generators are able to use the extensive Yanmar parts and service network already available in the United States. This gives the Truck Mate™ Generator an advantage over the other semi truck generators on the market today. Truck Mate™ Generators has designed and developed two of the smallest semi truck generators on the market today. The L100 Yanmar air-cooled diesel engine provides an excellent semi-truck generator with outstanding . The direct-mount L100 Yanmar air-cooled engine eliminates belts and coolant hoses to maintain.
